Our Founder – Maggie Strickland

Maggie graduated from North Carolina State University with a double major in Animal Science and Agricultural Business Management. She later earned her MBA at East Carolina University.

She worked with a large farm in Eastern North Carolina for 14 years before starting AgAssist with a vision in mind to help farmers Save Time and Gain Profits. Her experience in agriculture and business management has helped us to cultivate a customer base that is interested in learning more about the financial metrics of their business and working hard to be at the top of the competition by aggressively pricing inputs and direct marketing crops to end-users to capture the best margins.

Maggie is married to Andrew Strickland, vice president of Strickland Brothers Enterprises in Spring Hope, NC. They have 2 sons, Evan and Carter. The boys love to play baseball and basketball and enjoy fishing at the beach in the summer time. Maggie also enjoys riding horses and being outdoors in her free time!
